I've been taking almost the exact same pictures on the first day of school since his very first day of preschool.
I absolutely love seeing how much he's grown. And I love that when he is 80 years old he will remember that he ALWAYS requested waffles for his big day.

the end.

love it, he looks so damned excited! (we took pics of us on our first days in primary school, my dad was a school teacher so he's in them too, funny to see how much his moustache changed over all those years - lol!)

When I read "second grade", I thought he was 4 years old or something.

Over here (Belgium), kids start kindergarten when they're 2.5. :)

We have that same alarm clock, and those same Van's (which we, sadly, cannot wear to second grade as they don't work with the uniform guidelines, so we have to change into them as soon as school is out). Aren't little boys wonderful?!? :)

Yep it does happen. It's crazy. In my opinion though, all of our kids are still pretty little. :)
So Jarom has those same shoes except his are neon green and black. You want to guess how many outfits they go with? But he LOVES them. So yesterday it was brown/yellow plaid shorts with neon green/black shoes. Nice.
Anyway, he looks excited to be back in school! And I'm looking forward to somebody's 1st day of kindergarten post coming up soon!
